Batman: Dark Knight track complete

Posted | Contributed by themeparkne

Six Flags New England has finished construction of Batman: Dark Knight. The second half of the coaster went up very quickly following the official announcement two weeks ago. There are several trailers on site that are believed to contain other components of the coaster and possibly the trains.

Looks like a cool "near-miss" with the brake run after you exit the zero-g roll.  Excellent.

You can't spell "dishonorable" without "honorable."
I can't believe they finished construction as quickly as they did.  It took so long to build the first half and then next thing I know I have pics in my mailbox and a note saying that the ride is finished.  I can't wait to ride this thing.  It's looking like one of the most intense B&M's to date.  It's definitely going to give Kraken and Medusa a run for their money.

Looks like SixFlags is buying stations in bulk too now. That one looks alot like all the Flying Dutchmans have.

Check out that turn after the Zero-G...looks almost vertical!  This puppy is going to be intense and non-stop action...kinda like the Batman Inverteds.  I'm willing to bet those complaining about the length are gonna be pleasantly surprised at how good this ride is!
Nananananananananana ... BatMan!
People of NE, you are SO lucky!
You gotta love those interlocking corkscrews, another B&M engineering feat.
It maybe short but I think you'll get your moneys worth!
Can't wait to ride it this year - along with Superman - nice!

"Yeah, they did it in Superman 3"
Just how tall is that flume ride in the last picture?  It looks positivly tiny compared to the corkscrews...
Yes, the log flume really is that small and pathetic and the themeing does nothing since you don't even feel like you're inclose in the woods at all since your surrounded by rides and waterpark.

Six Flags really does care about SFNE in 2002
