Batman: Dark Knight... the next big clone?

I have an idea.. that this nice little compact coaster will spread to other parks. It is a realativly small ride, and in many ways is similar to another batman themed B&M ride, also at Six Flags Parks. Anyone agree?

Texas Coasters... wow I'm lucky... IM me if you feel like talking about coasters.

I agree 100 percent, it will definately be cloned

I think SF isn't going to clone their B&Ms anymore not one of their floorless coasters are clones. They would have started cloning a while back if they were going to.

I think this coaster layout would work great with a different name at Six Flags St. Louis

Alex: I disagree.

The original floorless, Medusa, was big and probably wouldn't fit conveniently into a lot of parks. For instance, it wouldn't fit into either SFWoA or SFFT where the floorlesses currently reside. Well, it may have, but the space/terrain are much better utilized with B:KF and S:KC. I don't know about the land around Medusa West, but S:RoS @ WBMW is pretty darn close to a clone of Medusa East. I think now that there's a nice compact intense floorless that will (hopefully) be proven, it'll be a good investment for the rising parks that don't have 'em (as opposed to cloning the much larger Medusa) like SFA or SFoT or SFoG.

SF is still in the cloning business. Vampire at LaRonde is a clone of B:TR. while SF hasn't cloned any of its floorless coaster, they haven't had a small enough one that they could squeez into any park. I think that's part of the reason B:TR was cloned so much. its a small, intense layout that thrills everyone who rides it. if Tidal Wave had never been removed and B&M had to build elsewhere in the park then maybe the first inverted wouldn't have been cloned as much. but eventually SF would contact them for a small, intense inverted and all the clones of B:TR would follow. well that's my version of time travel history, anyway. I guess only time will tell.

I wouldn't mind seeing B:TDK or S:UF or even TFC "cloned" at another Six Flags park.

I think the next big clone will be Superman at SFOG

The next possible Six Flags clone I feel has a better chance of being cloned is Superman Ultimate Flight.

Although it is possible, I feel Superman will get cloned because most Six Flags already have a Batman ride.

I spent weeks recreating that for an RCT park someone asked me to help out on. I can tell you that that coaster is unique to itself, it's, especially the finale and airtime hill and odd location for a brake run. Most Six Flags parks already have a Batman coaster, so don't expect this one to be flying across country. A coaster that I would love to see more of are the compact B&M or Giovanola stand ups. Six Flags should make a CCI out and back coaster called Catwoman's Whip and put it in all their parks. now that's a coaster I would love to see everywhere :)

I think that this wont be quite the same at Batman:The Ride because a lot of SF parks already have their own original floorless. What Six Flags parks have their own original B&M invert? Do any? That is why I think it wont be as(keyword as;)) far reaching. Plus as said earlier, a lot of parks have their own Batman rides. But then again, they could slap a new hero on the ride and who says a park can't have two Batman rides? I guess we are just gonna have to wait and see what Six Flags wants to do.

Since when do 3 parks in the Six Flags chain qualify as a lot?

Excalibur Crew for 2002!

I sure hope so that my home park can afford it! :)

Btw, there haven't been any news & someone said they've ridden it (not sure if they were making it up.)

Is B:DK testing or open or what & how is it?

Not a soul! See Great Adventure for an example!

Hmm S:KC @ SFFT, Medusa @ GAdv, Medusa @ SFMW, B:KF @ SFWoA, B:DK @ SFNE...well that's five to start with...

Besides, if we were really shutting down people we disagreed with, would Jeremy (2Hostyl) still be around? :) I think not. - Jeff 1/24/02

another example of a park with 2 batman rides:WBMW Madrid. they have Batman:The Ride and one other Batman attraction(not sure if its a ride). check out the WBMWM link on the front page and then go to the superhero section of the map. I know its no a SF park, but its close.

I'm just not a BIG fan of the floorless......B:KF was the best of the bunch IMO...(other than the ERT on Medusa East sans brakes). But I prefer the compact layouts, and lucky me, those are the ones more likely to be "cloned". I'll take the Ga Scorcher as a clone, or Talon, WAY before any of the floorlesses

Stupid question but what is TFC

TFC....The Flying Coaster...(and folks say SF isn't original when naming rides....HA!). It's the new Zamperla Flyer at SFEG, and my "sources" tell me it will....SWING!

Oh thanks , I dont really know if I would want it at my homepark. It looks like a wild mouse.
Well SFgadv's Medusa has the same layout except Batman: The Dark Night doesn't have a cobra roll.
