Batman: Dark Knight is a huge hit with enthusiasts and media alike. The ride is a relentless G-Force experience much like other compact coasters designed by B&M. The coaster opens to the public this Saturday. See photos of Batman operating at Theme Park New England.
Less cars = lower capacity = longer line = less people on S:RoS, acoomplishing Six Flags' goal;)
Seriously, I think the BDK trains should have 8 cars to increase capicity by, what, 40 people or so an hour- Six Flags needs all the speed help they can get with those "great" ops...
Still looks like a great coaster---I can't wait for my summer trip to the east coast....BDK & Nitro here I come!
EDIT: Spelled some words wrong- I gotta start using spell check!

If they’re running, I’ll get ‘em. If they’re not, they should be.

I go to SFNE at least 5 times each summer. I can't wait for the master plan in the future.
It is now April 20th so I'm wishing everybody that's going today to opening day to have fun. I'll be there on Sunday enjoying B: TDK. Can't wait.

Well, yeah, the ride should definitely pull people away from SRoS, I think'll it be a huge crowd-pleaser. That's because it doesn't have mind-blowing stats; It's not very tall, and it doesn't have that many inversions, that way it doesn't really scare people. Also, having 7 cars compared to 8 probably depended on a lot of things. The eigth car would get completely thrown on the dip (you did on the seventh), it would be more intense, and it would change the overall speed of the ride. The average speed would be higher, resulting in a more intense ride for the whole train.
They only have 2 trains operation because there were only 2 trains there; one on the track (we rode in that one), and one in the shed. Having three train operation would gain you nothing except for guest becoming bored and annoyed having to wait on the brake run. There's no way you could have the trains not wait on the brake run, because you can't have 2 trains running that circuit at once, there's no mid course brake run.

You wont believe the how humiliated I was to have such a big trick played on me. Remember that I said my mom would not let me go to media day? Scratch that that, it was all a hox! The whole family drove up to Springfield and they told me that we were going for some special event at the basketball hall of fame. Seeing S:ROS within the near distance, I decided to just forget about it and with one last glance restrained from looking at it for the rest of the day. We went to go pick up lunch(boy did I love some real Hush Puppies! Haven't got the real stuff since I moved to cold ole' Mass.) I closed the shades and steped out of the car and we got the food. We got back in the car and ate while my dad drove. Guess where he drove us to? SIX FLAGS NEW ENGLAND!!!!!!! That's right, jokerama by my own parents. That invitation to media day would not go to waste. My dad and I spent the day at SFNE while my mom and sisters went of shopping in Springfield.
Batman:Dark Knight: I may have tangled with the Riddler, been flown by the trio of Top Gun, B:TR, and Orochi. Even stoned by both Medusas. Still this B&M had something even the rest hadn't shown me. B:DK was just totally wild with those inversion. The way how all the elements twisted and tangled with each other. It put Mind Eraser's tight layout to shame. You just had to love that high turn through the loop. The key part of the ride was going thru that zero g roll that twisted thru the dive loop! There were a few rough transitions, but hardly noticeable while enjoy the thrills of this ride. I can't say that this is my favorite, but it will still get a place on my list. I was expecting more from the theming, which didn't show. It had some pretty good landscaping at some points, but that was about it. Some mark ups of the Batman characters were there, but no themed indoor que like expected. No sewers tunnels. Just the over used station that can be found on many Six Flags coasters like S:UE, Batwing, and X Flight. Out of a 10, I'd give this ride an 8.3. It had great thrills, but too short to last.
Vertigo? When were you there, like what time? Also, what were you wearing, I mighta saw you. Actually, chances are, if you were there befor 3, I saw you.
