Batman Dark Knight

Does anybody know if this ride will be open openning day.

It should be, barring any mechanical problems, which I don't see happening as it is a B&M, although you never know.

I'd personally wait about a week to make sure everything is going smoothly.

If the shoe fits, find another one.

I cant. Its either this weekend or not till summer because I am gettng oral surgery and wont be able to do anything the next week. And I am only allowed two parks before summer. The other one is GADV in the beggining of May. I have to go to SFNE first to buy my season pass since it is way cheeper than GADV.

It is thrilling its first rider on Apri 18, on Batman Dark Knight media day. So far, I know no one else who was invited to media day besides me. Unfortunately, my mom won't let me go since I going with the band in two weeks.
Oh so than it will be open Saturday the 20th
The people at Six Flags New England stated in a phone call today that "Batman Dark Knight will be open on April 20th." I'll be there.

Rest assurred, as a dentist, I can tell you that *most* oral surgery procedures won't keep you out of commission for more than a day or 2(if that in many cases). Plus, generally during that 1st day or 2 afterwards you're on such good pain medication that you'll think you're riding SROS or BDK without even leaving your couch! :-)

My goal is to be the 1st dentist to ride BDK this weekend!

From the sound of things the park is going to make the guests pay in advance for that new property they are trying to buy. According to one report the parking fee has been raised to a whopping $10. It was shocking enough with SFGAdv did this last season, but all of the prices at the Jersey park are shocking since they are a little more expensive that the Disney Parks in Orlando. Speaking of which, it still only costs $5 to park at a Disney park in Orlando, so why does SFNE think they are good enough to charge double? It doesn’t do any good to anger a potential paying customer before they can even get to the Ticket Booth.
I will be riding Batman tomorrow, April 18th. I shall return with a full report, and hopefully some pictures as well.

It doesn't have to do with the quality of the park. They charge as much as the market can bear.

Actually as of Monday April 15th, to park at any Disney park it was $6.

Yeah, hopefully I'll be there tommorow too, with a report to go along with Viper's (I'm still hoping I am accepted by ACE).

Why ride rough coasters when you can ride smooth ones?

Do you guys think the front or back of the coaster will be the best?

To the best of my knowledge, Batman: Dark Knight will be running for tomorrow's media day. I don't know how complete the area around the ride is. Hopefully it will look nice. I can't wait to ride!

themeparkne: Do you plan on taking any pictures on the 18th? If so...when would you post them? Just curious.

I'm going on the 21st to get my season pass and spend the day there. I can't wait too.

blinkboy14: That is a good question. If we go by the turn around through the loop as the halfway point, both ends are equally as good. This whole ride is going to be awesome.

TOP 5
1. Alpengeist, 2. Magnum XL-200, 3. Superman: Ride of Steel (SFNE), 4. Volcano: The Blast Coaster, 5. Apollo's Chariot
Close Calls 1. Grizzly (PKD), 2. Batwing, 3. Montu

Being a floorless coaster, I would bet the front will be the best.
