Batman Can't Keep The Record

Batman The Ride can't be the most cloned ride anymore. Vekoma SLC have to be, they are at almost every SF parks and a few other parks.

-------------
Name of Ride: Roller Coaster
Yeah, I know its a roller coaster, whats the real name?

Wrong on all accounts. The Vekoma Bomerang is the most cloned coaster design in history with somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 of them in operarion across the world.

At least Batman:The Ride was a really good original, unlike other clones. (S:ROS excluded, of course)

Gotta ride 'em all!
It still holds the record for most cloned B&M. :D

Hey, Raptor was cloned in Japan! Medusa has also been semi-cloned, as with Roar and the Coney Island Cyclone, among others.

It has to be the exact same layout and same name to be classified as a clone.

Some of the Batman clones are mirror-images of the original. I believe the one at SFStL is, and I'm sure a few others are mirror-images, too.
There is a mirror image clone of Raptor in Japan. It was called something along the lines of Oribachi. The park the coaster was originally at went out of business, and the coaster was slod and moved to another park in Japan. Sorry, forgot which one it is at now, but I do know it is still in Japan. Any oe know of any others clones out there beyound Premier Parks/Six Flags?

Wouldn't a ride only need the same layout to be a clone, not the same name, Chitown? I mean, Invertigos are all the same ride even if they are named and themed differently. If the RIDE is the same isn't that about 99% of what makes a clone a clone? Just my thoughts, I am not attacking you.

I thought that cloning was outlawed in the United States? ;) Just kidding. I think the Batman at SFMM is also a direct clone of the first one at SFGAm. I could be wrong though. Oh, and Medusa at SFMW is not a clone. It's layout different and is better than the SFGAdv one. Just my opinion though. Peace. :)

Medusa at Marine World: the best in the west!
ok here is my question on the subject of cloning
how much of the superman coaster do i need to clone it, all you need from a plant is a part
of it, so if i take a part of the superman ride
keep it water for a few days whamo ive got an
exact clone as the original coaster.
just kidding i dont mind a clone of a ride from
the west coast coming to the east coast, its just a matter of where you live if there is a few clones of the same ride close to you then it gets boring just my 2cents worth
SFSTL is not a clone the ride is different It banks right instead of to the left if I remember.

BMCOASTER
SFSTL is a B:TR clone, it is just mirror imaged.

The official term is "off the shelf". But I believe that there are more 'Galaxy' coasters, 'Wildcats', 'Zyclons', Hershell 'Wild Mouses', etc. All are good, of course. But hearing teh Batman theme song in the loading station does add a bit more zing to the ride.
Yeah, I've heard of people getting neck cramps, because they've been on SFGAM Batman and anticipate it going the other way.

You build it, I'll ride it
I'm not sure but If I remember right Vortex at PGA and the Georgia Schorcher at SFOG are pretty much the same. I've also realized that both Medusas and Kraken all have the same three first inversions except the Medusa in the east goes the opposite direction.
