Batman Begins Stunt Show at SFMM

Scheduled to open June 25th, Six Flags Magic Mountain is offering the "Batman Begins Stunt Show."

The stunt show features the new Batmobile that is introduced in the upcoming film.

The following article also has a look at the set:

There's a E-mail I got from Six Flags about it.

I hope Six Flags puts this show into more of it's park this year or next year. I remember when I was younger and SFGAm had the Batman Stunt Show. It was one of my favorite things at the park and I used to see it everytime I went.

Cool, another BIG Batman stuntshow. I know the new one at SFGAdv that they put in a few years ago (maybe it was last year) was supposed to be pretty good and this show sounds fantastic. BTW, anyone know how many different Batman Stunt shows are being performed in the SF parks around the country right now? I know SFMM has their new one, SFGAdv's has Catwoman, SFNE's has Two Face and the Riddler, and SFA's has the Joker... any other Batman villians in any of the shows across the country?

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

SFMM had a Batman show for quite a while though, I think it's been there ever since BTR and the Gotham City area were opened.

If my memory doesn't fail me, there were car chases, helicopter crashes, explosions and Ninja stunts also have been part of it.

So I wonder a little how the new one is different - apart from the new Batmobile.
It probably doesn't matter anyway, sometimes a little recycling is no damage - it was still a fun show with nice pyrotechnics and dangerous looking stunts.

New script, new set, new Batmobile, new stunts... it's a completly new show.

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

The new show ties in with the new Batman movie. It will also feature stunts with the new Batmobile. I'm guessing the villain in the stunt show will be Scarecrow.
SFDL has an indoor stunt show with the Joker.

Overseas, WBMW Madrid has the "Sweet Revenge" Batman Stunt Show. What is really weird, it doesn't even take place in a stadium! It is held on the main Gotham City plaza and people just stand there and watch the show. The show features Harley Quinn and Joker as the villains. No Batmobile or even motorcycle action! The only motorcycles are driven by henchmen and appear on the stage, roar and then they get on foot! It features a cool effect where someone punch pipes, they break and then go boom! Here are some pictures.

Yeah, SFDL's Batman "Stunt Spectacular" has been the same for quite a few years now, too... It's not bad, the finale is pretty good. But a change would be nice. I remember the first year they had it, it was set up so that they were "filming" the newest Batman movie. They would ask for volunteers from the audience, and a planted actor would come out of the crowd and "screw up" different stunts. It was kinda funny...

But then again, what do I know?

As far as I know these parks currently have a Batman stunt show of some type:

SFGAdv., SFMM, SFA, SFDL, SFEG, SFNE and I think SFM

These parks have a Batman stunt show arena (that is either currently being used for another show or not used much at all):

SFOT, SFOG, SFGAm. and SFKK

I always wondered why SFStL never had a Batman stunt show. Well, that's because they have no area for it. But I always wanted a stunt show here with Batman. What ever happened to the Batmobile?

Six Flags Marine World had Batman Thrill Spectacular, which was a water stunt show on the lake. Now they have Ski Xtreme- Bad to the Bone. Not that it matters, but they did have a Batman stunt show.
