Batman and Robin the Chiller

I was thumbing through some ride reviews, pics, and information about this ride and I stumbled upon some varying information. Some places said that the maximum speed was 70 mph, then I saw some sources say 65 mph, and I even saw one source say 72 mph. I'm just wondering if somebody can set me straight on the records and give the exact information, thanks.

The ride is horrible, if that helps at all.
I was looking for a little more on the side of answering my question, but thanks anyway.

Well, it runs about 70mph. But, if you find the Batman side open, then your prayers have been heard, as usually Robin is only open. It is a good ride, just Batman is rough in the front on the return, as Robin is rough all over, but fast, mind you. That 170' horseshoe on Batman is awesome in the front, and Robin is similar to one giant boomerang.
All sources point to 70mph.

Brought to you by Australia's No.1 Coaster Fan.
I have seen some sources that claim 65.

Actually I did ride Batman once. I didn't feel anything during the ride except for the reverse freefall at the end. I don't know why, and I thought that it was very smooth with no headbanging.

The Batman side is actually very good, so I have to take my previous comment back, but the Robin side can kill you. The tophat inversion is a really cool effect, and I wish the B&M would come along and do something with it. That would be a great sensation on an invert.
New cusioning was added to the restraints this year, and they seem to make a nice difference. Your face does not get slapped around . If you ride in the fourth car you can really feel the curve of the track on Robin. When the train returns I have this automatic cringe thing where I put my head on the right harness. It seemes to lessen the blow. This ride gives G.A. a great variety of coasters. ---------
