Batman - Knight Flight at SFWOA

BKF is my favorite coaster at SFWoA. I prefer to sit in the back on an edge seat. I think BKF has the best first drop in the park and my favorite part of the ride is the low turn after the loop.

I've only been on Medusa West as my other floorless coaster and the only part that really stuck out is the zero-G roll. I also must join the group and say I wish BKF had one but I like BKF as it is now as well.

In a world where a lot of B&M loopers use the same formula (loop, zero-G, dive loop, etc), it's nice to have a ride that stands out from the others.

So many complain about the standard B&M order of inversions, yet when B&M plops down a unique ride, it gets little attention.

XFactor also mentioned "the B&M formula". I can say with absolute certainty that the *standard layout* does have some serious limitations....namely, it's been overdone. ALL of my favorite looping Beemers vary from the *order of inversions*....does that mean that the next park is gonna do something "different"....not really, cause parks aren't in the business to please ME.....yet....;)

Talon, Scorcher, Great Bear, Fire Dragon, BKF.....they're great BECAUSE they're different...at least for me....but then again, I've got Beemers to spare!

I can appreciate that B&M made BKF unique but in doing so they removed the one single element I enjoy on a floorless coaster: the zero-g roll [aka Kumbathingy].

In my book, no Kumbathingy = no love.

I've only been on Medusa West, floorlessly, but the zero-g roll is my favorite element on the coaster. I'm headed to SFFT in a few weeks (S:KC here I come!), and am hoping to get to SFWOA to compare, but we'll see. Duty calls, I suppose.

An hour closer to home, some very good coasters, short lines...there's three reasons. By the way, I've noticed you have bashed SFWoA on every thread you've posted on. Is this a hobby of yours?

As far as B:KF goes, I really like the coaster, though I feel it's gotten rougher over the years, but, in my opinion, not as rough as Medussa was last year. It gave me a headache.

SFGAm...When you need a good example of a SF park, this is where you look.

I hate to say this...........GOD, I hate to say this, but mOOSH is right (once again). Kraken's 'kumbathingy' is missing in B:KF which is such a turn on for that ride. Just the intensity, the weightlessness, the violent body throw is amazing. What a great element.
