Ball Coaster?

Has anyone heard of Intamin's prototype "ball coaster" ? It is supposed to be a match to the 4th demension coaster.
Do a search, man...

Amazing what the "Search" link on the top of every forum page can do for you.

The ball coaster has been shown since about late last year and maybe early this year at a show. It looks small right now the prototype is low capacity and such. If bigger models of this were to come out it would be something a big park would get, but right now it looks to be something maybe a smaller park would get, but then again intamin looks to market at major parks as well.

Intamin's ball coaster fails the definition as a 4 dimension coaster at this time since it lacks controlled seat movement. The 4-d coaster had to used a 4th variable over X, Y and Z since there was seat movement. In reality, the 4th variable isn't the real 4th dimension at all.

Kinda like Top Thrill Dragster is almost 7 miles shy of being in the stratosphere.

I am sure some park will buy some ball coaster product as it's easily compact. I don't know if it can safely be built into a large ride unless it uses seat control.
