Badnitrus Quicktime Problem

Ok, I want to download the B:DK animation off of Badnitrus soooo bad. But I can't because for some reason all I get is audio and no video and there is a white screen the whole time. Can anybody help?????

Upgrade QT... you've likely got an old version.

Upgrade your video drivers as well. Poorly written drivers don't do video well.

Me too! I have Quicktime 4.1 and I still get the white screen and audio! I guess we should tell Badnitrus?

Don't tell Badnitrus. Jeff is in charge of the encoding process, so just listen to his advice.

its not Badnitrus' problem, its yours.  listen to Jeff, if nothing works then you're screwed.  a while ago I tried to d/l vids from Alex's Place and I got the same thing, but now that I have a new computer and all, his vids work perfectly.  however, I don't think you should go out and buy a new compy just to see an animation.

If you're using QT 4 then that's your problem... you need 5.

Ok, Jeff where can I get Quicktime 5? Do I have to pay for it? I really love their vids! I want to watch them like crazt, especially the new Batman: Dark Knight! ;) Please can you give me the info?

Then how come my S:RoS, B: KF, and  CBC vids work?

Because they weren't encoded with Sorenson v3, which ships with QT 5!
