Badnitrus Productions re-launches as a CoasterBuzz affiliate!

Posted | Contributed by Badnitrus

Finally, after months of being off-line, Badnitrus Productions is now officially open. Thanks to Will Johansson, the site designer, BP has a completely new design! Also, with the help of Jeff, we now feature 3 different video options to better serve all platforms and bandwidths. There is now more information for each coaster including layouts and high-resolution bird's-eye overviews. Be sure to check out the newest videos: Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England and the Crystal Beach Cyclone!

SCĀ²...Launching To A Web Browser Near You In 2001...
Hey thanks guys!

I hope it was certainly worth the wait since Halloween.

The coasters.asp page was a real challenge to handle and manage all 700 lines of code, hehe. When I started doing this and got a bit confused due to the lengthy code, I started thinking, "How the heck did Jeff do CoasterBuzz!" :)

Other than that, I agree with both CPgenius and SpongeBob - the Badnitrus guys are getting better and better; Superman: Ride of Steel @ SFNE is a perfect example of the guys getting better and better!

Enjoy the new Badnitrus Productions!

Edit: Oh, I forgot: Happy Thanksgiving, guys! :)

Fantastic work as always. Great to have you back! I want to see some Arrow trains too!

The Superman Video of SFNE was soooo accurate to what the ride looks like.  Well the inverted coaster is called Mind Eraser instead of Serial Thriller but the level of detail is amazing.  How do you do that and what program do you use? that must have taken you forever! you recreated all the rides around it.  Pretty soon you'll be recreating parks.  Heck, seems like you already did.

sigh, SFNE goes "tiny" for 2001
They use 3D StudioMax. They have improved with every ride they've rendered yet!

Awesome Guys! Keep it up! You guys should try to build  a park.

Rendering an entire park would take forever to do since there would be sooo many objects in the scenes.  Its a thought for down the road, but waaay down the road.

Your rendering of S:ROS (SFNE) with the track in the foreground and the station in the background is so awesome!

If you see me running, try and keep up!

All I can say is "Wow."  There's not much more to say.  Keep up the great work, guys!

Coaster131:  Jeff didn't have anything to do with posting the news, we are in charge of that.  We didn't want to make a post until all the animations were up and working, indicating the launch of the full site.

this site is incredible - definitely one of my favorites due to it's unique content! The SFNE superman video is almost as good as the actual ride. It has all of the rides in the rest of the park, even. Anyone want to take a trip to NE this year?

My only complaint is that the stripy background takes way too long to load/reload, at least on my computer (G3/netscape). Plain black would suffice.

Also, could we get any insight into your favorite coasters?

on a side note, spincycle45 you ought to change your endquote to "SFNE goes crazy in 2002!" Despite the crappy economy and six flags being n debt, we're getting a brand spankin' new B&M! =)

Nelseon324: I don't understand why your Mac loads the background real slow. http://badnitrus.coasterbuzz.com/images/Web_BackgroundStripes.gif is the background. It's merely about 50 bytes.

Try Internet Explorer 5 for Mac :) I've had better experience with IE5 for Mac than IE4.x or Netscape.

Some versions of the Mac Netscape render backgrounds and nested tables really slow no matter what machine you've got. I agree, IE 5 for the Mac went a long way in making the Web faster for Mac users.
