Bad Movies made into Great Rides

I don't really care much whether they use a movie, a book, a children's fairy tale or whatever. Just make me more coasters, and please, PLEASE, Let me theme them!

Batman: The Escape
lol @ Kilt of Doom :)
I know the line I am about to draw is thin but..

aren't the super hero themed rides related to the comic book heros and not really to the movies. there are a few that have movie counterparts, but there are also quite a few that don't. Mr Freeze, Joker's Jinx, can't think of anymore, never been to a park with one of these, going to stop talking now, end of list, etc...

I wanted to reply to this the other day but didn't think it would last this long.
But when you say all of the Batman/Superman rides are themed after movies I disagree with you. Sure alot of the Batman ones are but i don't think the intent of any of the Superman Rides is after the movies. Remember Batman and Superman were in comics way before they were movies and I would rather see A ride named after Superman. Consider the comic tie in on some of them and not the movie.
Also Are Batman and Superman as overused as Cyclone or Comet. I think not.
Just be glad that Some of them are themed to something rather than throwing a coaster up and naming it Boomerang. Because it happens to be a boomerang.(Something Both Cedar Fair and Six Flags have done)

Also on the Batman issue Batman movies should be dark it is the basis of the character in the comic books and it is why the movies were dark because tim burton wouldn't have had it any other way and the others followed suit.

I do think of them as comic characters, being a fan of comics, you get used to seeing prized characters get put into real pieces(meaning I'm used to good comics/characters being made into really bad movies/franchises), I'm used to it. Although, I must say I think of the MindBender as the MindBender, not that I mind the Gotham repaint, the Riddler is cool(especially various comic incarnations of the being), but it's not a Riddler ride in my mind. Just like when I finally get on a Superman ride, it's not going to remind me of the movies, that I know nothing of because I only know a few of the comics.......

.....was Tidal Wave themed after the Tidal Wave movie? I think they originate from about the same time.......
T-Wolf, you nuked me, glad someone else feels that way. It has nothing to do with those movies neccesarily. The ideas for those movies came about because people know Batman(if I could specialize a Batman theming I would create a Frank Miller Batman, Batman ride:))!
I want to see a ride themed to "WHat's Eating Gilbert Grape", it'd be a TOGO coaster. When you come off you'll be coughing up snot and puking.

HurricaneGeauga- Just in case
Carowinds, Hurler=Waynes World, Drop Zone= Drop Zone , Top Gun=Top Gun (good Movie) Thunder Road= There was a movie called that along time ago. Taxi Jam- Wasn't that a movie. Scooby Doo's Ghoster Coaster= Movie and TV show. GoldRusher= Had to be named after a old western.

Carrowinds next ride will be themed after a WWF Star.
