Backyard-coaster disapproved

You're not the only one's who didn't find that funny.. That was probably one of the most insensitive remarks I've seen in a while...

^Na, the one dimwit who said something about SFNO now having a waterpark took the cake.

Anyway, back to the "homemade" coaster. It looks/sounds pretty impressive for a 14-year old.

The media in germany really jumped on the story and the kid had to give lits of interviews for radio stations and newspapers.

The owner of EuropaPark, Mr. Mack, a man who can never say no to free PR jumped on the story and invited the boy to spend a few days at the park. After lots of foto-ops, he offerd him a training period in the park and their coaster factory. To top it all of, Mack organised the dismantling of the "coaster" and promised to rebuild it as a part of Europaparks Mack Museum.

It was reported that the whole structure was massively built and not too easy to dismantle. Even grown up carpenters had no idea how this small boy could build all this on his own. Apparantly his even younger sister sometimes helped him to hoist some of the heavier parts! Doh!

wow, that is pretty awesome.
Lighten up....lol but yeah this kid lucked out big time behind this. *** Edited 9/5/2005 10:53:51 PM UTC by Kamikaze***
