Does anyone think we will ever see a B&M with trains on it backwards like jokers revenge ?
I think it wold be cool it the trains on the hulk were facing backwards. or facing back wards on Mr.Freeze. That would give me the chills.

Who knows. This actually sounds like a logical next step for B&M.
I was writing about something very similar yesterday on another topic. Although I was joking at the time, I do think something like that is very possible. It would take some engineering to prevent the ride from being too taxing on the body, but with some foresight and time, I would imagine that B&M could move in that direction. We can only pray....:)

Uh, you do go backwards on Mr. Freeze. You should know that, your Track Record says you have.

like Boomerangs! What is wrong with me?
Bruce,
I ment that it would bee cool if the train were facing backwards when it launched, so when you go up the vertical spike you would be facing down,
that would be quite a veiw, huh!

I was thinking that exact same thing about V2 yesterday while at SFGAm. It would be awesome to go up the spiral side backwards !

Current favorite coasters:

Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Mr. Freeze
With all the G's you pull on a hyper coaster, would it be possible on one of there hyper coasters ?
I hear that on Halloween that Medusa at SFMW gets turned backwards. It is a B&M floorless.

Uh, even if you shoot forward you will get the same affect once you go backward....you should know that too.

Plus if they launched you backwards you'd have real bad whiplash. They'd have to put a forehead rest on but that would make you feel very enclosed which wouldn't be very fun.
Medusa doesn't get turned around.
I dont think they can do it on medusa because the train needs to be stopped exactly or the floor wont come up right

According to your signature you know so much about roller coasters, yet you think they turn around Medusa? You should know that's impossible if you know so much...

Hey, about Medusa, someone just told me. I didn't really believe it though. But a coaster that does really get turned backwards is Colossoss (sorry if it's spelled wrong) at SFMM. The turn it around during the Halloween season. I'm posotive about this one for sure.

I too, was thinking the same thing. While I was @ work, I was thinking how cool it would be if they put one of the trains on backwards. After I got the thought, I was looking at the train and to me, it seems techincally possible, except for one thing- on row 8, the last row, guests would not have enough room to board the train, as that's where the floor platen ends. And one con from a non-technical standpoint- I think there would be MANY sore necks after the ride. I'm sure it will never be done, and I'm sure there are many, many more technical reasons as to why it won't be done, if it's even possible, which I doubt. Oh yeah, and all this is referring to B:TR.
After submitting this, I read it again, and thought of another con- the anti-rollbacks would not be facing the correct direction, and I realized how severe the whiplash would be. Ouch... But hey, it's fun to imagine things. ;)

I was on Colossus backwards last year - made me think it should count as two coasters, but what about Racers, Thunder Road, and other backwards coasters. Then again, I'm from FL so I should be used to contentious miscounting...LOL. Non-inverting coasters only for me if they're running backward, at least until I see a few others get off the ride first.
Oblivion backwards would be a bit of a bore, but Nemesis backward would be insane!

I was thinking that too!!
I travelled halfway around the world last year to visit SFMM, when I finally rode S:TE I was pretty dissappointed! IMO, Reverse the cars, and to reduce pressure on the lapbars, recline the seats as on Oblivion.
I see no point being 400 ft high, when all you can see is sky- you need to see ground way below you at that height!!
