Awesome Dorney Trip

I arrived at around 11:30 on Friday May 17th, and i darted for Talon expecting a big line, but it ended up only taking around 20 minutes. This ride is so intense, and there isn't one slow or bad part about it. After 3 re-rides on Talon, i went to Steel Force which is on the other side of the park. The loading time is soooooo slow on this ride, so i didn't bother waiting for the front, unfortunately, and i rode in the middle. Great speed, and nice helix, but not really any airtime.

Then i went to Thunderhawk which had about 10 people in line, and rode that twice. Not a horrible coaster, not good either.

Then i went over to Laser which had a 15 minute wait that got progressively longer all day. This Schwarzkopf looper has great speed and intensity, but it is too short. It seemed to last about 15 seconds and it wasn't worth the wait.

Then i went to Hercules which had a 20 minute wait, because it was only running one train. The first part of that ride is one of the best parts, and if you've ever ridden it, you know what I mean. Definitely ride this in the front seat. Don't expect any extra air by riding in the back. Riding in the back only hurts you more. The front seat gives you a great ride and a headache, whereas, the back gives you the same ride, but a migraine.

Then i went back to Talon and the line was about a 5 minute wait, i couldn't believe it. I took this opportunity to ride it 8 more times.

Then i went back to Steel Force and the line was huge, but I had to wait because i was told that the front seat was the best. And whoever I heard that from was right. If you're gonna ride Steel Force, ride it in the front, everytime.

I checked out the new ride Meteor which was closed for a long time because someone had spewed. And i noticed a lot of puke stains on the OTSR's. It's definitely worth a ride, it's pretty scary, i thought i was gonna fall out.

I got one last ride on Talon and 2 more on Hercules and i went home. All in all, it was a wonderful trip, crowded as ****. If you're more in to Talon, then you would have been in heaven, because of the short line, but if you like Steel Force more, you would have been pissed because the line was huge and the loading times are slow. They don't send another train up the lift hill until the other train is back and into the final brake run.

For a Friday when a lot of school groups were there, it wasn't too bad. It'd be great to get back on a Tuesday when it's empty.

Great TR! Werid how on crowded days the biggest and most popular coasters won't have lines ! This happened to me at SFMW with Medusa!
