Attractions all parks should have...

If it has a nice staff, and good clean walkways, then that I say is what every park needs.

X Looks Awesome! Oh Yea!!

Let's see, first off, a 350 foot tall quad-looping woodie, with the old style bench seats and a lap bar. An Intamin Giga WITH (what shall I call them) Giga-loops! Then a really nice themed dark ride. A "Sample all you like" Beer Garden and a collection of antique flat-rides. FREE ENTRY! No lines EVER. . . . . wait, I think I mis-understood. Could you repeat the question?

Staples of any park in order to be considered a park, merry-go-round, some kind of sky ride (ie: observation tower or ski lift type) and always nice, courteous, smiling, non-stinking, pleasent, dressed nice, knowledgeable, staff. And benches everywhere.

But, I'm just glad to be on anything that spins!

I think Holiday world needs to take some clues here. They have the two best woodies on the planet, a great flume. But they really need a ferris wheel, and a classic carousel would go great in the park. Add in a bumper cars and a small steelie and they would be better then jujst spending a couple hours at.

The Beast and Night, They go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly

I like to see a wooden coaster, a carosel, a ferris wheel and a miniture train. This is definatly the backbone of the traditional park. What I enjoy the most as far as milder flat rides is a swinging ship, a falling star, and paratrooper.

Mike Middleton's Guide to Indiana Beach

1. A Schwarzkopf coaster

2. A carousel

3. A log flume (or some type of water ride)

A wooden coaster(preferably with a double down) Ferris Wheel, an antique carousel with a band organ that really plays, some classic flat rides like a Whip,Tumble Bug,and a Flying Skooter. Top it off with a real STEAM train (none of this phoney gas powered stuff) and that's some of what I look for.
I think that every park should have some sort of observation tower. They're good places to take some good pictures. I was looking for one at SFOG this past weekend...but there was none. The ride op on Acrophobia wouldn't let me take my camera on the ride :( .
