Attorney for accused Extreme World worker rejects plea agreement

The attorney for a man charged with recklessly dropping a girl 10 stories at a Lake Delton amusement park announced Monday they will not accept a plea agreement and he will argue the judge should dismiss the charges. Charles Carnell was charged with felony first-degree reckless injury when 13-year-old Teagan Marti dropped 100 feet from an Extreme World ride he was operating.

I personally thought it was more fun when we making fun of the 30 year old making minimum wage. The fact that he smokes dope while pursuing his career was a distant second in terms of humor.
You do make a valid point about the probable percentage of THC in the bloodstream of ride operators. This would be especially true for those who surpass 30 years of age and still find themselves in seasonal employment at a job dominated by kids and senior citizens.
You're making the assumption this was his 'full time job', though. I'm 30, have a good paying job that I consider my career, and had it not been for my main job's commute, I would have gotten a part time at Carowinds this past summer.
Just because I don't smoke weed doesn't mean I couldn't make a mistake, though.
