Attn: SoCal credit whores

Got another NorCal credit for ya'll opening in Sept: http://www.rcdb.com/id3598.htm

Anyone know of any other 24' Miler Family coasters? Just trying to get an idea if we're talking kiddie here or actual family coaster.

Sad and pathetic I know, but since not much happens up here, this is big news for us, especially with the new mini-park: http://www.nuttreeusa.com/subfamilypark.html

Looks alot like a mini-Bonfante Gardens, should be nice!

When I was a kid, we used to drive by the Nut Tree whenever we visited family in L.A., which was yearly or bi-annually. We always stopped there, and I rode the train once or twice. I always was hopeful that there would be more rides there, but to avail.

Now, some 25 yrs later, it's finally happening. :)

As for Miler, they have built more than one coaster with a height under 24 ft that was fun (if not necessarily thrilling) for adults.

The Zooooom coaster at Oaks is one example, just ask 'gator.

Wow...surprise for me. Checked out "miler" on rcdb...always curious. EXPECTED to find the Taxi Jams and B2B Freeway from Adventureland (that of Snickers fame), along with the various mice and the cool Miler Star Jets.

Here's what SURPRISED me...anyone who's ridden this knows HOW blurry the line between flumes and coasters can get...

Yeah I'm so stoked that they went with a Miler instead of say some tired Zamperla or Vekoma kiddie coaster or something. At least it will no doubt have some wild airtime and laterals (that one at Oaks looks identical to SCBB's, minus the terrain).

Been wanting to check out Big Timber, supposed to be pretty fun I've heard. Here's another weird hybrid from Miler, would love to have one of these in my backyard!:

Miler's rock! I love the one at Celebration City, and yes the kiddie's have wicked airtime. That has always puzzled me--if we think it's wicked, what about the kids and the unsuspecting non-enthusiast parents?

Did an construction update over at SFMW Zone (currently the only NorCal coaster site up and running) for anyone interested:

I love Scandia Screamer. That is all.

Have you ridden it, AV?

edit to self ^: B2B is at Adventure City, Adventureland is all the way across the country, LOL.

Screamer, from what I heard *and* experienced, has gone WAY downhill...
