ATM's?

Didn't we spot ATM's in the screenshots? I haven't been able to find it, wether it be in a scenario, or in the scenario editor.

I got one in the beginner castle scenario, but I researched about 5 or 6 stalls before it. I was researching only stalls, because I REALLY needed the ATM. When you are charging the highest you can for rides and the peeps are coming in with $50 in their pockets, those ATMs become a huge help.

Yeah, the Castle scenario is TOUGH.

Yeah, I got greedy and wanted to build like crazy without building enough smaller rides to generate income. I was 100 people short because I didn't have any money left to advertise. Duh.

Doy. They're called Cash Machines in RCT2.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one having difficulty with Crazy Castle...

I failed Crazy Castle, too, sort of...

Ok, I desperately needed to get more guests in, so I advertised like hell and put a "no entry" sign in front of the exit so no one could get out. I did reach my people goal quite comfortably, but forgot to remove the "No Entry" sign. This lowered my Park Rating to about 400 ("I can't find the exit...I want to go home," etc.), and when I removed the sign after I had already failed, the park rating went back up to about 850 almost instantly. Too bad I did not save...

Heh, I saw I was going to be a few peeps short right before the end, even though I was advertising my butt off, so I "cheated" a bit... put a do-not-enter sign in front of the exit. I won by about 30 peeps, all of those showing up in about the last 45 seconds of the game. Talk about a nail-biter! :-)

That scenereo was pretty difficult for "beginner". Weird.

I never did get an ATM researched for that scenereo... so I had tons of peeps screaming that they were running out of money. :-(

I had around 400 guests in my park after Year 3 and I realized that I was going to fail miserably, so I increased my loan by $15,000 and put in a wooden coaster and a few other rides. In 1 year not only had I exceeded the goal by a few hundred people, but I had completely repaid the entire loan and built a ton of new rides. Once you get the cash flowing it becomes incredibly easy.
