Atlantis

I was on rcdb and I went throught the New for 2002 list and I went to Atlantis, that 10 inversion coaster going in Thorpe Park, but somethin made me feel, ehh, how do you say, kind of not believing it. After 5 inversions come 5 Zero-G heart rolls. To me that sounds like someone who is in a hurry to finish a coaster by adding elements quickly. What do you think. BTW, is it inverted?

No, it's not inverted. If you search the news you can probably find a link to some model photos.

Atlantic is an Intamin creation. What they did was clone the Monte Makaya...the 8-inversion Intamin...and they added two more in-line twists. The layout is this:

Come out of the station, up a lift hill, turn 180 degrees, drop, into a loop, into a cobra roll, into curving rise, into 4 inline twists in a row, curving drop, into to corckscrews, around another turn, into a final inline twist, into the station.

Short, yes.
Intense, very.
Made for quantity, not quality, yes!
