Usually the park opens for Palm Sunday, and Easter Sunday, then is closed for final preperations till it starts to operate on weekends only some time at the very end of May.
Coney Island is never really very busy so they open when whatever little crowds start to show up (Late May).
Maybe if rumors are true and the Parachute opens this year the opening date might be sooner but only time can tell.
