Astroland in movie "A.I"

When I was in Gurnee, I visited Gurnee Mills. So I went to go see the movie, "A.I." When the boy, David, looks for the blue angel, he goes to "The Big Apple." He goes under water (not trying to ruin the movie) and goes into Astroland. It doesn't show the Cyclone but it shows the Ferris Wheel.

Don't worry, the movie ruined itself :( Seriously, seeing Astroworld was the highlight of the movie, and it wasn't THAT exciting. Although that Ferris wheel is pretty huge! *** This post was edited by saviourmachine on 7/19/2001. ***

This was discussed the afetr the movie came out, and wood wouldn't have lasted in water for 2000 years underwater, thats why theres no cyclone.

Actually, he went down only a couple hundred years after the coaster was submerged...but the same holds true.

Yeeee Haaawwww!
You know, my brother's girlfriend said she saw a roller coaster, and I was looking REAL hard and couldn't find one. Anyways, I loved how they used the ferris wheel in the movie!

Craig, nearing 1,000
I thought it was a bit weird that he fell off a building in Manhattan and landed near Deno's Wonder Wheel in Brooklyn.

So many coasters - so little time.
NOT a ferris wheel. its like, half rollercoaster/ferris wheel, kinda strange. its called the wonder wheel.
