I found a little article with a neat video showing a little bit of Rye, Playland and its questionable future.

At first, I thought asking the public's opinion would be great, us teenagers would say that they need more thrilling attractions. But then I realized teenagers usually do not go to public hearings, its mostly parents and older people. Whatever happens, hopefully this great traditional park will maintain its history while continuing to add a major ride every so often.

Yea this was also on the news about a year ago. It is mainly to fix cracks in walls, and rebuild some buildings foundations, or something like that.

On RCDB it also says that they're getting a spinning wild mouse. Can anyone confirm or give us some information?

From Interpark's website -

The Wild Wind looks pretty intense. It's too bad they removed it.
