Kind of sad, but "newsworthy", or at least the Jacksonville Times-Union thought so....the article was actually brought to my attention by a co-worker who's *vaguely aware* of my obsession. When I realized I was mentioned *by name*, I knew you all would want to read it RIGHT away...how's THAT for shameless self-promotion...;)

I just wish the article had been about some miraculous last-second deal to SAVE the park.....ah, well....:(

edit: "Crappy paper" lost its online source temporarily, LOL...Melissa knows I'm kidding around...:)

Got it. Interesting that an amusement park wouldn't want to take advantage of the business that would undoubtedly be brought into town by all that development!

Okay... after reading the article on Pavillion (in the news section) and now reading this article here, I am officially depressed.

Thanks for the link, Bill. The William Lentzsch sounded so articulate...are you sure it's not someone else with the same name? ;)

mOOSH [must get to Miracle Strip this year!]

Eric...Dave Letterman sent me the "Top Ten words that rhyme with Lentzsch". It comes to you courtesy of 'Playa, so be sure and *give him the business*....we always support our sponsors...;)

10. Mensch, look it up, it's Yiddish!
9. Bench, as in Johnny Bench or park bench.
8. Clench, as in Bob Dobbs' own.
7. Wench, the beer chick at Medieval Times.
6. Drench, what happens to ya on Bilge Rat Barges.
5. French, (we surrender!)...also, nationality of the Spurs' *Tony Parquaire*
4. Trench, what they're digging in Stanleyville for *my* Oblivion
3. Wrench, comes in handy for removing Dragster theming
2. Hench, short for henchman, an underling.
1. Stench, as in the smell of the new Universal attraction, Soaring Over South Georgia...4-D isn't *always* as good as in the plans, LOL....

Now meet our band, consisting of Paul Schaefer, Zorak, and Doc Gibbs...we're kicking it up a notch...:)

P.S. to Pale Rider...yes, that's it exactly...;)

Hmmm....Willy Wench has a nice ring to it. ;)

Billy Stench ain't too bad neither.

So "Miracle Strip"...is that what happens when a Miricle Whip addict doesn't quite...uhhh...make it in time?? ;)

Sorry, must...make...jokes in these wretched times.
