Article on HW and other attractions in southern Indiana.

Nice long article discussing Holiday World in a positive light of course and other must see places.

I wonder if anyone informed this reporter that Gobbler Getaway was custome made for HW by Sally Corp.? A far cry from homemade.

The "anyone" with the reporter was me ... and no, I don't tell the media about ride manufacturers (unless it's a trade publication). They simply don't know and don't care (nor do most non-enthusiasts, frankly).

I think his point was Gobbler Getaway is folksy and home-grown, which is sort of what we're all about. We're not tied in with a movie theme. That's okay.

Overall, I think it's one of the best articles ever written about our area.

You also don't have a Moosh:The Ride yet (unless of course you count Voyage...lots of opportunities to moosh the rider next to you on some of those heavy laterals, lol) ;)

I thought the article was very nice. It really brings light to a part of Indiana that many do not see. There is even more in Southern Indiana that the reporter could have gone on about like the attractions in Evansville and the Jasper Strassenfest (which is this weekend), but he was writing an article not a book. Oh how I miss my homeland... oh yeah I am still only two hours away. ;)
