Arrow Website Question

joe.'s avatar

I was looking at the arrow website, and I'm wondering, has anyone ever got their flash videos to load? Every time I try to view them, they just keep saying "Loading", and I've waited for twenty minutes for those stupid things to load.

An example: http://www.arrowdynamics.com/rides.php?rtype=4th%20Dimension

I love Arrow coasters, but I can see a few cracks about their web design being as smooth as their transitions. ;)

You really need to get some more BRAN in your diet

No kidding.... They use java as an interface and put their videos IN Flash.... Talk about bad design.

Not their fault. They probably don't know the first thing about web page design and they hired a guy who must be crazy about "advanced" things like java and flash. haha

Hey! Enough bashing already.....Works fine with Explorer. Maybe it's just sensitive to your harsh words! At least they've got a store. :)

Brad, for the items they sell, does it say Arrow Dynamincs on it anywhere, or are the just plain? I can't tell and my guess is you've bought something from there.

O BTW, I've gotten them to run fine aswell!

The shirts are not plain - click on any of the items you can choose which logo you want on it. Why they decided just to show blank items is beyond me. And, yes, the website does run slow, but a slow website is better then none (come on now B&M!)

Dennis, I'm on Ameritech DSL and I've tried it on Quest DSL as well. Tried it on two different win2k machines and a win98 machine, all with MSIE6.

Yeah it sucks that you have to imagine the logo on the items you see, but even my email did nothing! By default you'll receive the white "A" and text on dark material, and black on light. The train will be in red. You can specify, and even send IPS (the happy logo people) an item to be stitched (I did this with a hat I liked better). The text says "Arrow" and can be put on the front, side or back of the hats.

Brad, who would love a Schwarzkopf, Intamin and B&M store as well.
