Arrow Stand-ups

Tidbits of trivia. The EXT is now operating I believe in South America, and Railblazer is the current track of River King Mine Train that is at SFStL. The track that stayed a minetrain while RailBlazer was there is now at Magic Springs. Meanwhile, Jet Scream (the other pictures that where on the Geocities site) is Viper at SFAW.

It's no wonder someone was thrown out of Rail Blazer. I can't imagine how a person would be able to stay inside those restraints without full control of their body.

Looks about as painful as the TOGO's. :-(

Does anyone here remember riding Railblazer? It would be very interesting to hear a personal account of how the ride "felt". We can all assume and speculate, of course, but what was it really like? I would love to hear, as well as a lot of other people, I'm sure.

Funny you should mention that... I was in the park when the "incident" happend. I loved Rail Blazer as a mine train, and was looking forward to the first "Stand Up" expereince of my (then) young life... but alas...

We were in St. Louis for a week after, but they didn't re-open the ride until we had left... in fact, DID they ever re-open it? I can tell you that I was a bit scared looking at the cars... they didn't look very secure. I can tell you that Rail Blazer was a pretty good mine train. Both sides of it. But I never got to ride it standing...

The Raliblazer did operate for the 1984 season after the "accident" happened. The stand-up cars used to be in the SFSL dump up past the Eagle, but I don't know where they are located today.
