Arrow Pipeline coaster

I have one segment on tape from a circa 1992 program (hosted by Merlin Olsen) that showed what looked to be a scale model of a pipeline coaster testing in the Arrow factory. It was doing a lot more than the full-scale prototype pictured above - stuff like twisting during drops and moving through elements on its side.

If you are a former sports star turned actor who is doing a coaster special about a coaster that never happens, you can then consider yourself a washed up actor.

Isn't a Intamin Spiral Coaster the same concept as a pipeline?

Also, isn't Ultra Twister also basically a pipeline? Not sure, but these both seem to be the same concept, doing spirals while riding in the middle of the track. Unless Arrow's was suppose to do something more?
