Arrow domain now pointed to...

... S&S' horrific site. I can't believe they dumped Arrow's beautiful, nicely designed site. Thought I would bring it to everyone's attention.

And it's about time too. I just love those pretty beveled edges and text images... not to mention the groovy default.jpg title and the unparalleled loading speed (sorry Jeff, as far as speed and efficiency goes, you've been beaten here).

Sarcastic... nah, never.

That little style trick for the "beveled" text looks like crap on an LCD with ClearType on. A shame they never thought of that.

And S&S really needs to hire a firm that knows what it's doing to build their site. I know someone who could do it for under $10k.

I guess you can't purchase Arrow merchandise anymore. I'll also miss the Q and A section as well. Some of the question people would summit were really funny.

Not sure that is such a bad thing, though!

"I was in tears when it was all over, I WILL DO IT AGAIN."

Excuse me please, that is one of the funniest things I have read in an hour.

You know the site is bad when there is a Paul Reuben comment on the main page.

I almost forgot that I had Cable internet when I clicked any link, I thought I had gone back to Dial-Up.

Is nothing sacred? By quoting Paul Reuben they've officially launched themselves into tooldom. It really is the end of an era.

If Paul Ruben is a professional ride enthusiast then I am a professional couch potato.

Has anyone noticed that ARN&R is now celebrating "350 years"? So how old would Arrow be in ARN&R years?

Jeff- If I'm not mistaken, that quote has been on the S&S website, indicating that they launched themselves into tooldom quite some time ago.

You're not a professional rider unless you're getting paid to do so. Of course, if you're getting paid to ride their ride your opinion isn't very valid, is it?

What happened to all of the Arrow "stuff"? The 4-D of the future designs, the rides available past and present and future?

That site sucks.

They should sub-title it to say, "Mr. Ruben has made a career out of whoring himself around the world and on TV just so he can get in free and say every ride is the best."

And yeah, that site really blows.

I'd do that if it got me around the world and into the parks free.

I wonder if Ruben gets endorsements from parks and companies for saying crap like that?

Argh. Not only are there quotes from Ruben, they're not even listing any Arrow rides or ride installations! Damn S&S!
