Arrow and Zierer's Future

Wednesday, April 3, 2002 4:31 AM
Looks like both companies are mostly going to be in business for spare parts. Does anybody think they may have a chance to recover to the point of making lots of new rides in the future?

What do you base your opinion on? Who says Arrow doesn't have some big deals in the works?

With the way the 4D has been received, I would think that Arrow has a future that consists of much more than spare parts.

You both bring up good points. I have some industry sources that are "in the know" so to speak.

Though I would love to see them make a big turnaround(X at Magic Mountain actually was quite costly for them) I tell you, I really like the way their Arrowbatic looks. In fact, it's on our consideration list

Another factor will also be how X does in the future. How much in spare parts will have to be spent to maintain a ride like this? Will the "roughness" that we have seen in Arrow rides of the past haunt this ride as well? How many parks will actually buy a 4D and/or Arrowbatic.

In the end, time will tell

Arrow has sold two more 4D's and has a four wild mouse deal with Six Flags right now.

And you know this, HOW?

I've been banned 3 times, and I have yet to find a reasonable explanation...

Jeff said it best. In my opinion, it seems that when someone says they have "industry sources", they are just looking to be the center of attention. Some people know someone in the industry, some people dont. Do you really think the people in the industry want everyone going around telling everyone the status of their company??? i really dont think so.

Correction, that is a four Mack wild mouse contract, and it was old news guys. Two of them are already up in Europe and the third is going up at Enchanted Village. You guys need to remember this stuff, it was from 2000, not that long ago.

According to Amusement Business and Zamperla the ride going into Enchanted Village is a Zamperla Zig Zag coaster.

Jonathan:

;)

Don't get me wrong, I surely would love to see more 4D and Arrowbatics.

I personally am an Arrow fan, would hate to see them totally go.
