Armed Police At SFGAm

Why are some many of you taking the negative approach that an officer means the park is unsafe. If I see a uniformed officer, I think the park is safer because no one's going to pull any crap if they see an officer in the park. I like to think the parks are being pro-active by preventing problems before they happen. But then again, maybe I'm being too optimistic. :)

Du8die what are you talking about. There are no police cars in front of the netrance. Also if there have been some their than I guess I never saw them which is un likely because I've been there 15 times in the past month!

Have you ever been to SFGAm and seen Deja Vu closed? If you have then go again and it WILL BE DEJA VU!

Sorry I couldn't hear you, The voices in my head are drowning you out.

This is the first time I saw armed police at CP..we didn't see any last time we went...only security guards.

BGW had FBI running around there on opening day..Hershey has security at the entrance now checking bags..CP is also checking bags now..I feel alot safer...

CP has a real police department with bonded (I think that's the word) officers that work year round. They always did. In addition they hire non-bonded security to supplement the police force in the summer. Those are the cops without the guns. I think they try to get law enforcement students, but I'm not completely sure on that.
Welcome to the REAL world.

The only time I ever say armed officers in the park was when their were disturbances or shoplifters. Any time someone commited a crime uniform officers were on the scene.

I'd hope they were armed...otherwise, how would they pick up their guns??
