I've noticed a lot of complaining going on. One of the big things is PKI 2002 TR:TR. I mean I wanted a coaster but I know PKI always digs up something amazing every year. But beyond the point, we are coaster enthusiasts here. We are at this site to talk about the wonders of coasters. Some people all they do is complain. We need to appreciate and not take for granted the 8th wonder of the world....roller coasters.
Sorry Jeff if you feel like I'm trying to take over. Also anyone I've offended.

Pki FaNaTiC you are preaching to the choir here. I am an enthusiast and I am getting sick and tired of all of the complaining going on. It is one thing to complain about poor ride ops, bad theming and other quality issues but to complain about a park or a ride because they did not put in what you want is stupid. I remember when we were lucky enough to get a new coaster at our nearby park once every 3 to 4 years. Now if we don't get something new every year people start whining and complaining. I ride coasters for the fun of it. I don't rate them, I don't make top ten lists and I don't think CP is the greatest park on the planet. Deal with it! It is no wonder a lot of parks can't stand enthusiasts. A lot of us just want to have fun unfortunately it is a few bad apples that cause problems for the rest of us.

I agree, just because a few sorted people don't hear what they want to here they complain. Ever since I joined c-buzz, there was atleast one complaint that I read everyday (who would have thought). I myself am happy for PKI and I hope that TR:TR blows everyone away. Here's how I look at it, (this is for the complainers) atleast some of the complainers home parks actually get attractions in a 1 to 2 year gap, some parks go four or even five years w/o getting anything new.

Judging from most of the attitude that is posted in all of the coaster enthusiast message boards, I'd have to represent them with these words :

• Spoiled
• Complaint
• Idiotic

I wouldn't go as far as applying these descriptions to "most" people on "all" boards. For the most part, folks here ARE enthusiasts. I've had a pretty good experience on this site.
So what if there are a few whiny brats here? Don't pay attention to them. We're here to talk about how fun these things are, how beautiful they are, how much fun we had at a park, tips for visiting, news and gossip and tech geek stuff about the companies, etc.
It's kinda crazy to complain about complainers...would you say? ;)

For some odd reason doesn't it seem like these complainers and spoiled brats are mostly from Ohio and California. I'm not sying all of you are,infact some of you from Ohio happen to apreciate what you get and are good enthusiasts, I'm just saying that a large percentage of the brats are from those two places. Also, I've seen many of you brats write letters to the park mangment and complainig about what they will be getting for the next season, espescially about Tomb Raider the Ride. That gives us Coaster Enthusiasts a bad name, and I have actually written to mangers apologizing because I was so ashamed of you. So please be happy with what you are getting at your home park, some of us aren't getting aything at all.

I find that to be a slap in the face. I am only 14, and I have never said I hate a coaster. I don't whine about what my park doesn't get either. I don't think you should judge because of age....it makes you look like a child;)

Hello! I agree that some people are spoiled. Knott's hasn't gotten a coaster since Ghostrider, but you don't hear me complaining. I would be sad if they never got anything again, but I would continue to go because it's a fun park! Just enjoy yourselves! By the way, I have been out of town for 2.5 weeks. What is TR:TR? Thanks.

Tell me, whats your point? I doubt average age is 15 anyways, and I see a lot more people complain than just people who are 15. I for one am offended by you pointing the blame to all of the 15 year olds on here, because not all of us complain. I think by you saying "and you can TELL!!!!!" proves that the 15 year olds are not the problem, but people who point blame (coughthrustmacinecough)

The reason most of the brats are from CA and OH is because the majority of the buzzers come from these places...not because there is a shortage of brats in other parts of the world.

That was what the person was originally complaining about...that he didn't know and the park's marketing department didn't see fit to make an exception in his case.
We don't know for sure. They have everybody guessing...which is what they wanted us to do in the first place! Gosh they're smart! ;)

Well, that's a fairly stupid (and incorrect) generalization. According to our research the average age is 18-24. Even if it wasn't, you're not giving 15-year olds the credit they deserve. They aren't stupid, though admittedly a great number of them irritate me at their inability to use the English language as it was intended.

And whoever lumped this site in with coaster forums in general, don't even go there. I take offense to that. The moderators and I spend a lot of time deleting nonsense and noise so you don't have to sort through it all. You're welcome.
Back to the original topic, I grow fairly tired of all the crying. Some people aren't happy unless they're being negative.

I'm excited about the new ride PKI is putting in...the thing that saddens me most is that people are whining about this. What does it matter if they don't put in a coaster, they are still putting in a state-of-the-art ride. You should be thankful.

Who are you to make that kind of statement?...you've only been here for 2 months and you are making false claims about users. That's just as bad as saying that more teenagers cause trouble at parks that adults...it's generally not true.

You guys want to see complaining about the PKI ride? Go over to the thrillride.com boards. One guy said (and was serious) that he is NEVER going to PKI again because TR:TR is going to "suck" if I had a dime for everytime I've seen somebody on that board say suck I'd be a billionair.
