Well, according to RCDB, they are not the same ride. S:TR is 10 feet taller, and RnRC is 120 feet longer, so immediately they're not the same. As far as being nearly the same, I don't know...but RCDB states that RnRC starts off with a cobra roll, and S:TR doesn't...it's got that heart maneuver that's on all the SLCs. Am I missing something here?

I thought they were the same, only Superman was outside and Rock N' Rollercoaster was inside, which still makes them clones.

SFEG-*New For 2001* Carnival Of Chaos Batman Stunt Show. Wow.
But Vekoma has TOO MANY CLONES. Their SLC layout is at every park that can't invest more than $10 million in a coaster. Why can't they change the layout a little?
The SLC at Morey's Piers in Wildwood New Jersey is slightly different. If you have the America's Greatest Coasters Part 2 video you can see that it travels a different direction over the waterslides than a normal SLC would. Also, there is a Woodstock Xpress at Dorney which is probably the same coaster as Cedar Point. I don't think there's anything wrong with cloning of coasters. They've been doing it since the golden age of wooden coasters. Almost everyone does it too and that includes B&M, Intamin, and Arrow.
I have America's Greatest Coasters Part 2.And it's true!Vekoma has woodies in Holland (SFH),Belgium (SFB) and in Norwegen (Tusenfryd)

Why would they take the time and money to research, develop, and design a new type of SLC when the ones they have now still sell, and, to the general public, still thrill?

Maybe we'll see a second generation SLC one day. It's not out of the question. I mean, look at the directions they took the simple little boomerang...

Once again, What about Stealth??? That's Vekoma! I don't think that there is a clone of it! Is there?

If today is Tuesday, April 10th, well then I'll be ridin' Kraken all day tommorow!

No, but the R&D from that certainly had a lot to do with X-Flight and Batwing, even if it isn't an exact clone.
