Are rollercoasters designed for short people?

im 5'10" 165 lbs.-----i sometimes feel a little cramped on wood coasters but otherwise im fine.

the topic should be are roller coasters designed for big people.

i'm 4' 8".  i went on hercules, and the lap bar didn't even go down far enough. there was about a foot between my lap and the bar, and all that was holding me down was what looked like a seat belt.  I got major air time, though!

I need a vacation to recuperate from my vacation!
At 6'6" I know that most coasters are made for shorter individuals. There are some that are great, others that are cramped and a few that I can't fit on because of my height. I guess until I shrink with old age or coaster manufacturers decide to allow more leg room I have no choice.
I have a hard time fitting in the Raptor at CP, Top Gun at Carowinds, etc.

My shoulders barely leave enough room for the restraint to get close enough to snap the seatbelt to it.  I spoke with a friend who works at Cedar Point and she said that they get a lot of complaints that guys who have muscular shoulders, i.e. ball players, wrestlers, etc, have a hard time on those rides.

By no means do I consider myself a big person, I just imagine how some of you big and really tall guys fit in those rides.

I just have to squeeze in there, but I am happy I can still ride them.

I'm only 15 and I'm 5'9  120lbs and surprisingly I had a problem on goliath. I was in the 2nd row in the first train and it was really hard to keep my legs straight in front ( this because of my size 15 shoe size) and luckily I was able to cross my ankles. But I've never had this problem before on goliath or any other ride- granted I've alway's sat in the front on goliath or at least in the first 3 trains. Is there something different with the second row than the first and third?
The rides should have harnesses like Viper at SFGAdv where they are height adjustable, to fit more people, and they need to make roomier trains.
