Are Premiers and Arrows dangerous for kids ?

It didn't almost kill you. Thats beef.
Yeah I'm exagerating but it did hurt.

Without having any technical data, I would guess that a child large enough to fit the safety restraints on any coaster is probably less likely to be injured than an adult.  Their tough and have had less time to have things wear out.

Just watch kids slide and fall on ice playing in the winter.  If an old guy like me did that he would wind up in the hospital.

Well, I was dropped on my head PLENTY of times as a kid...no harm done there, I think, LOL.

And what's so bad about GASM?  GASM has been running smooth as heck this year...now, unless you are sitting in the middle of the train (which you probably are), you won't get hurt.  Sit in either the front row or last car.  The ride is SO smooth!  I thought it was actually smoother than a few Intamin's and B&M's I have ridden.

If you see me running, try and keep up!

Anaconda at PKD realy hurt me when I was 12, but Outer Limits (FoF) (pre lapbar)did'nt
I'm not saying GASM is a bad ride its one of my favorites at Great Adventure I was just wondering because I also noticed it was alot smoother this year.

My point exactly. People attack the whole ride (and others like it) for one bad part. In Gasm/Shockwaves cases it's the entrance to the mid course break run. Other than that, the rides are smooth and enjoyable.

Well, I can do have some evidence that, yes, maybe an Arrow could. While watching Life in the ER on TLC a couple of years ago, they brought in a child who got injured on a roller coaster at a certain park in Pittsburg. It was the Steel Phantom. The doctor who checked the young girl wasn't surprised at all.

Yeah, and only someone who was dropped on his/her head could believe GASM is smooth. That ride sucks! And this coming from someone who loves Arrow and loves Shockwave. I rode in the last car and it wasn't the bad transitions that got me, but rather the track itself felt like it was rolled in coarse sandpaper...and that was down the first drop! Terrible, terrible ride.
