Are park employee's in Union's?

Just a question I had are park employee's in a union?

It depends on the park. Disney employees belong to a union (Services Trades Council, I think). At Cedar Point, employees in the maintenance department - whether full-time or seasonal - belong to one of a few different unions.

To expand on what Gemini said....At Disney, even a part time, temporary ride op is a member of the Union. However, you are not required to pay union dues. When the union gets a salary increase, dues paying members and non-dues paying members get the raise. I don't understand why a ride op would pay the dues.

At Cedar Point, the part time seasonal maintenance workers are required to pay union dues. The rest of the seasonal workforce is not union.
