Are backyard coasters legal?

Well, if I ever happen to come across a few million, I would call up CCI and order a Cyclone clone, with a helix at the end, and CCI's famous "swooping turnarounds".
Check out Dragon and Looping Star. They are carnival coasters. You assemble them like a model train layout. They're tubular steel. They both feature tight drops and turns, like a Wild Mouse. The Looping Star can have either one or two loops. They would easily fit in a backyard.

Also consider a Wild Mouse. I've even seen them at drive in movies and inside malls. A Wild Mouse would easily fit in a backyard.

I saw a Wild Mouse in good shape on sale last year for $10,000. And you can still buy new cars or additional track sections. The new cars are much more comfortable. Test ride them at Idlewild.

A very long time ago, this woman from California I think ordered to build a coaster in her backyard. It didn't have a chainlift, it started on her roof! It was very steep, then had another pop-up and then a swooping fan turn. I think it also had some trick-track at the end. If you were involved with ACE a long time ago, you would have probably gotten a newsletter/magazine that showed it. She called it "The Termite". The Summer 1991 issue, I have it right here.

That was in Fremont, CA. I think he was actually a "he". I forget his name.
