Arcade -> bakery at Cedar Point?

What 'old arcade building' is this news item is refering to? Hopefully not the big arcade with the classic video games.

No, it's the one with the old light based shooting gallery, skeeball machines and other "ticket" games. I will miss "accidently" taking flash picture of that shooting gallery!

Im glad that huge arcade will still be there as I have been asking around and no one could answer which one it was that would be changed.

Cedar Point -How an amusement park should be run.

Nooo!! I'm gonna miss that shooting gallery. One of few around that the flash trick still worked on. :(
I am going to miss the skeeball tables. Those were some of the easiest tables to get perfect scores on.
Want to set them off still John??

Head to Knott's.. ;)

That's where it's heading..

I'm kind of a junkie for setting off shooting galleries with flashes. The gallery at Knott's right by the Log Flume is the best I've ever seen. It's big, it's pretty, and it's loud.

Now there's gonna be two, huh? Good deal, I guess. Any idea where at Knott's it's going?

I remember this past summer when i helped out with an article for the Cleveland Plain Dealer the reporter knew my skee ball background and wanted to watch me play. So we went up to that arcade and while we were there I asked the photographer if he had a flash in his bag. He pulled it out and attached it to his D1x and I told him to take a picture of the shooting gallery. He looked at me like I was crazy but did it anyway, he turned into a kid in a candy shop. He kept on doing it over and over and finally the poor kid that was working the arcade yelled at him and told him to stop because the air compressor was old and it couldn't take the abuse of setting everything off at once.
Hah. So the employees usually don't get mad if you use a flash? *** Edited 2/3/2004 3:58:48 PM UTC by Raptor Pilot***
Well, if you're clever about it, they don't typically notice who did it. But to do it over and over... LOL

I think the bakery is a great idea, and a nice snack option. I personally never really play the games (did play Fascination but oh well, that's an old argument) so I won't miss the arcade.
