apollo's chariot

Jeff?!?!? Is that you??!?!? I thought it was *you* who often invokes the "comparing apples to oranges" theory (especially when it comes to Millie and Maggie). Are you a recent convert :)

AC, IMO, had the best first drop of the 3 B&M hypers, especially in the back. Oh, and I think that AC surpasses Millie as well (save Millie in the front seat where it's more thrilling than even The Legend...)
ciao bela!

They're both hyper coasters...but I'll compare Big Bad Wolf and Jr. Gemini. The comparison that I make is one of my personal enjoyment of the ride. I can certainly say whether I enjoy one ride more than another, regardless of type, manufacturer, etcetera.

Doesn't it seem as though morons always have the caps lock on?
Mark W. Baruth,

I understand now.  If your looking at comparisons from the standpoint of personal enjoyment that makes perfect sense.  Back to AC........honestly i feel that this coaster is probably one of the best steel coasters in the nation.  Does anybody know how much BGW spent on this giant......i know that this was the prototype for the new restraint system that B&M used.  Did that make this ride more expensive?  Is that why the theming is less intensive than the other rides in the park?  what do you guys think?

Alpengeist was 14 million, I am sure, so Apollo probably was 15-16, more if the terrain was flat.
