Anything going on with the Gravity Group?

Just wondering if there are any rumored Gravity Group projects or if the company is the new "Blue Man Group? I know, I know (BAD JOKE)!

Does the World need another vanilla cola?

I hope so. I miss CCI. and someone needs to give GCI a run for their money.

The "FAB 5" needs to give Mean Streak a "makeover"

I am not "getting" your Blue Man Group comparison. I know who they are - I just don't understand what you are implying...

They're hard at work... just keep in mind that the market is a little on the saturated side for traditional wood coasters. Perhaps they're thinking outside of the box...

What time does the water show start?

From what I've heard, they were contacted to do the retracking of the Raging Wolf Bobs at SFWoA. That's all I really know about any of their projects.

Doesn't Gravity Group have these new Millennium Flyer trains, or am I smoking something?

If they were doing some re-tracking with Worlds of Adventure's Wolf Bobs... then they should be replacing the Geralsture (sp) trains w/ better ones (despite Wolf Bobs being replaced FOR those Geralsture (sp) trains!!).

Only two installations of Millennium Flyer trains that I know of are on Lightning Racer at Hersheypark and (I think, but I could be wrong) Roar at Marine World. Both are GCI's... and Millennium Flyers are their design.

Dawg, for future reference, it's Gerstlauer. (Gerts-law-er)

Gravity Group does not sell Millennium Flyer trains, that's GCI. When the engineers in Gravity Group worked for CCI, they typicaly specified either PTC or Gerstlauer trains, whichever the park wanted or could afford.

That makes two of us. I'm a HUGE Blue Man Group fan, but I don't see the connection here...

I'm almost certain the original post was referring to mere verbal coincidence. "Group" and "Group"...that's all....

Last I talked to any of them, They were doing well not doing just coasters things but engineering of wooden structures, Houses, Video games ect.

Chuck, who thinks their biggest drawback right now is that they don't actually construct anything but they sure as hell can design it.

It's official Lesourdsville Lake is closed for 2003

I know they rebuilt the lift of RWB this summer, but its not official rather or not theyw ill do the rest of the retracking. The park did RWB in house last winter, it all depends onhow much work is needed on another woodie across the park in whether or not GG does RWB.

SFWoA TL 2003!

I sure hope GG fixes that pit at the bottom of RWB's first drop. What a jar to the spine!
