As a lot of you already know from my other posts, I am going to Six Flags Magic Mountain tomorrow for the 2'nd of 5 trips this year. I am wondering, when you were at SFMM, did you start out going counter clockwise or clockwise for the rides. I.E. Goliath, Colossus... or Viper, Ninja...? I have only gone clockwise once there just to do something new. Do you think I should do that tomorrow and start out with a seven loopeer ride or should I start out riding a hyper?
I would say to start out going left. Hit Revolution first to get your body ready for Viper. Head up the hill to Superman, then down to Ninja. Next, go to Psyclone, then Riddler's Revenge. Then stop for lunch at the place in front of The Gold Rusher. You can ride that if you want too. Then head over to Gotham City and ride Batman. Then Colussus, then Goliath(twice, or thrice). Then you can ride Flash back on your way out. If you still have a lot of time, I'd go on Viper again, then Batman and Riddler's. Try to get on Goliath at night time too. A good grand finale. Hope you have fun!!! This is the route I take. I can usually get on everything at least twice.
I run to Riddler and work my way down :)

Riddler's Revenge-Can You Stand It?
I went there on saturday(busy day) I rode in this order Goliath then riddler, goldrusher, psyclone, viper, superman, revolution, goliath again @nite, ninja, freefall, skycoaster, viper(x5). Flashback, colossus were closed and batman had a 2 hour wait in line. I had plenty of time to eat and rest. I suggest the big G first!
Last time i went was on friday june 15th. We started at the top of the hill with ninja and superman and then clockwise from there down the back of the hill. Our last ride was Viper.

"ok everyone go ahead and pull down on your shoulder restraint so you feel nice and stuck!"
i went last friday and i did the exact thing that MMountainFanatic explained. it actually was not busy on that day. i finished the day riding Goliath 5 times in a row because the line just got shorter and shorter....it was a great finale to my day.
I go counter clockwise unless it is crowded. If it is crowded then I start with riddlers
I have been to SFMM a lot in my life and I would say going counter clockwise is your best bet. Hit goliath(quick detour to collosus) and then Batman and Riddler's. Those three are the crowded attractions. After you hit those continue around the loop. Make sure you take some pics of X for us.
I've only been once, but I headed straight for Orient Express and took it to the top of the hill. Then I ran to Superman. I was lucky enough to get on the first 'train' of the day and with some sweet talking to the launch girl we got two rides in a row. After that I came back once in the day to see how long the line was and it was terrible. I was happy to get that ride out of the way with no wait. After that I took two quick spins on the Ninja before many people made it up the hill. Then I went down the hill and rode Riddler's Batman and Collosus before I ever hit a line (which was for Goliath). I think this is a great way to go if you don't want to wait in line for Superman. Fun ride but not worth a 45 minute wait or longer. I'll wait that long for Viper, Goliath and Riddler's but not for Superman.
Incidentalist has the best way of directing yourself through the park...only thing is if you get there when the park opens will this work. If you get there mid-day around 12, just pray it isnt a busy day, and wether is it or isnt, expect at least a 25-30 minute wait for Superman.
