Anyone see Good Morning America today?

Friend of mine told me they had a piece on roller coasters, what's new and old and all that. Curious what they said and showed.

They talked about new coasters, and older ones. They showed the one reporter riding with a "coaster enthusiast" on Nitro. The also showed clips of Tatsu, Voyage, Kingda Ka, and other coasters.

The piece in all was only around 2-3minutes.

2-3 minutes is pretty much all the time any story gets on any of those "news" shows.

The 1PM eastern thing on Fox Dayside got preempted because of the DC stuff. :(

In all fairness if you're turning to GMA for actual news I don't think you have anyone to blame but yourself.

Well, sometimes I'd like to turn it on and see a longer news story than a stupid 10-15 minute thing on a deleted scene from Desperate Housewives...

God forbid the news be longer.

I've seen coastin Steve there a few times and even rode Nitro with him a couple of times. To bad they didn't have real footage of ET running.

matt, which is why I don't watch GMA. All I'm looking for in the morning is weather and the occasional traffic conditions.

^ In Arizona the only weather is if it COULD be cloudy at all today. Weather-men have it easy is Arizona because it is always HOT.

^I think the only weather forcasters have it easier than the Desert Southwest are the ones in Hawaii. It will be around 80 degrees today with a chance of afternoon showers on half of the island. :)
