Look how plain we were!
New hyper coaster for Elitch Gardens?(5/8/2000)
New Six Flags in Southeast Michigan?(5/8/2000)
Paramounts Carowinds may get version of Stealth(5/7/2000)
Wild Adventures woodie(5/7/2000)
Pieces of a New Coaster Track?(5/3/2000)
Disney Moving Coaster?(5/2/2000)
Arrows new wheel design(5/2/2000)
Giga coaster sounds more and more realistic for Kennywood(4/25/2000)
Six Flags America to receive standup?(4/22/2000)
CCI Coaster headed for Idlewild?(4/21/2000)
Did any of these come true? (I guess Carowinds eventually GOT Stealth ;) )
That is like SFMM running all their coasters on the same day.
It isn't EVER gonna happen! *** Edited 4/13/2005 8:00:54 PM UTC by CoastinKatie***
WA woodie did come to pass, but getting them to reconsider those G-trains sure is proving dificult...
Is 2001 really "the old days"? ;)

I guess in Internet time we could equate 2000 as like the 1970's. Someone should photoshop a little 'fro and chops (big @ss sideburns, depending on what generation you are from) on Mr. Buzzer.
Even then they say SoB had a bad layout. :)
It's easy to look back at the old CB design and laugh (or cringe), but I'd bet it wasn't too far off as far as the "standard" for the time.
Thank God, Jeff doesn't deal in the rumors market anymore. :)

Ha, that's *almost* as bad as Cedar Point's silly PR propganda.
I miss the yellowy-cream background though (and the lack of ads [and don't tell me how to get rid of the ads, I'm fully aware])
Nope... he sold out to a Web spammer. What a waste of a good name!

Is the asking price for WoC's rollercoaster.com domain still $50,000?
Hey, at the time, it was true! It's still the first. Those were simpler times, when the entire site ran on a shared server for a big $50 per month.

That's just wrong.
Six Flags really WAS looking at land in southeast michigan. So was Disney at about the same time, if I recall correctly.
So although it might be considered a rumor, it was based on fact.
