A while back on press day for X a lot of us notice that where the exit and entrance is at the top of the station people could cut.
I don't know how many of you have made it out to ride X, but you will soon notice as you enter the stations that patrons are cutting. The lockers are placed right next to the entrance of the station and off-comming riders are cutting back in.
Now hopefully SFMM fixed the problem.
-----------------
If they set up a system, like this it may work.
Two ride attendants stay on either the entance side or exiting(one on opposite sides) and the ride attendant in front of the entrance line would issue Boarding Passes. Guest would hold on to them, as they enter the station the attendant would collect the passes. Those who have baggage and need to store it in the lockers would show the attendant their ticket. The attendant would then mark and red x in it, or whatever color. Give the pass back and then the person may go do whatever they need to or store in that area. The person would then show the pass with the X on it back to the attendant in order to rejoin his or her party. The person would keep the ticket and as they get off the ride they then need to show[boarding pass with x] the other attendant, he or she[attendant] would then collect the pass. To keep the same person from showing it to the other attendant and cutting.
Attendant at the other side would stop the line, so no cheaters get by.

You mean the sign that says "Please don't cut" isn't stopping people?
Wow, didn't see that one coming! :)

Hey, Shaggy, it's "Sea *$#@&$ WORLD!" LMAO.
Those signs sure didn't stop me when I was there. Of course, that was back in December when the lines weren't back as far as that point ;) . I understand completely Apollo's idea, and it sounds like it would work well. Great idea! However, you all must remember that the little 'staff line' which is the skinny lane on the stairs where no one stands is (was) a major way for people to line jump. I really hated when people would just pass me up over there. The attendants should probably just watch that area as well.

GO AVES!!! AVALANCH WILL REPEAT!!!
I can't stand people cutting in line every time I tell them to get to the back of the line. I have noticed though that if I tell them not to cut other people sometimes don't let them cut and the person may get stuck in a grass area and not be able to get out. But most people act like they didn't see anything. That is normal for regular guests. Barely ever see them telling about people.
I HATE LINE JUMPERS!

Ride On!
Hehehe Bob O. First they've got to actually pay attention to what's going on in the park! Where is security? Where are the employees that are supposed to be assigned to that area.
Seems to me they have been placed at the wrong spot. They need to be at the top of the stairs only allowing a certain number in the loading platform at once, not at the bottom where a simple sign can direct people to use both sides. As usual SF gets things backwards.

"Or they could doit the way they did Batman at SFoG its first year. You had a numbered ticket dispensed at the queue entrance. If your number was out of sequence, you had to go back to the line entrance and get another one and wait all over again.. I kinda wish they still had something like that. Might keep people from cutting on all the rides...
Magic Mountain already has that system in place, just only on rides that have a reported problem on with cutting. This has already been used on Goliath and Deja Vu as least to my knowlege. Seems like X will have the tickets passed out on it too very soon...

Top Gun: TJC flights - Approx. 240 (54 in 2002)
There are a lot of lines out there that almost encourage cutting. ie. - SOB has a line that goes all the way down the Top Gun exit. Iv'e seen so many people just hop the gate and wait half the time evryone else did. They Should put up a 8 foot high fence or something so if someone tries to climb over they might fall and break a leg. Hopefully they could not sue because they were doing something that is stated against the rules of the park. Speaking of not enforcing the rules. I hate the people who smoke in line. No offense to those who smoke but do it somewhere else. Im only 15 and can't say much to enforce the rules but I just wish some people could be nice and wait until they get out of line
All it would take is ONE employee standing in that area... no need for fancy tickets. Other solution, DONT PUT THE LOCKERS THERE!
Good job Six Flags, First you use Fastlane, then you allow line cutters...
i saw it once on X
a girl rode twice in like 15 minutes
The same thing happens on Riddlers Revenge because of the lockers

I've just seen the future...what was I saying?
I think parks could do somthing more to discourage line jumping then they are currently doing. Granted, I don't see much of it, but when I do see it, it p's me off to no end. Usually when someone jumps, a few people who are in line yell things at the jumper, and the jumper, pretending not to hear this heads off on his/her merry way.
BTW, Pantera Psycho, nice sig :)
