I was wondering if anyone has heard or seen anything about SFGAm season pass prices raising again, as usual. So far for the past 5-7 i know of they have incerased the pass price every year. This years pass price was $87.65, and thats not including sales tax and Gurnee taxes on it. I am thinking about taking a road trip to either SFKK or SFWOA to get my pass there during my spring break, especially since its only $49.99 at either park for their season passes.

Hopefully not, if they do, then it would be a good idea to head down to Kentucky Kingdom and get em there, plus you can check out Chang and Twisted Sisters while you're at it.

I would bet more than anything that the season passes will go up...SF needs to fund their empire somehow, and it seems that you, SFMM, and SFGav goers pay the price. Here at the Great Escape you can get a season pass for only $30 when you use the grocery store discounts and their upgrade from a ticket to pass...it is great!

I need to know about SFGreat America not SFGreat Adventure. If i am going to plan a trip to SFKK or SFWOA during my Spring Break here at college i would need to know soon so i can get discounted hotel deals through my school.

If you get four friends to go in with you ....You can buy a family four pack of season passes for about $60 a pass.....(the park just gives you four Vouchers to go into the park and get your picture taken for your pass so you do not have to be family)........also check ebay there are some people that buy a family pack and auction the rest.

Yep, you don't have to be a family to get the family four pack, just get four buddies together and it costs like 240.00 or something. Not bad
LOOK! I don't want a 4 pack of passes, i would rather go on a trip during my spring break by myself or whatever. I am not that stupid, i know U can save more if you buy more passes.

Geez, people are doing their best to try and help you and you get snippy about it in return? How ungrateful! Why dont you just call the park. They would have the best and most current information anyway.

The 1st thing i did was call the park and the have no info yet. I know that you can sazve more when U buy more but i rater pay less at an other SF park.

If you called the park and they have no information on the prices of season passes, what makes you think the average coaster enthusiast knows? Oh and FYI: If you do care about about the price and only care about yourself, i'm sure at the beggining of next season, you can arrange a meeting with more than 10 of the dozens of SFGAM season pass holders on this site including myself to pool your money on a certain day to buy the 4 pack. It will cost you a total of 10 bucks more to do it this way so decide for yourself.
Well if you read my original post, you would notice that i rather do it during my week long spring break and go on a trip to either SFKK or SFWOA. I barely get anytime off for vacations while going to college. SO, If I go to SFKK i can also hit Holiday World or if i go to SFWOA i can also hit CP. That is why i rather travel then do a package deal at SFGAm. Plus the package will go up if the regaular pass price goes up, too. I allready know that SFKK and SFWOA season pass is $49.99 for 2002.

To your 1st question, because there could be people on here that have heard anything or works for SFGam and knows about it. Just because the phone line has no info about doesn't mean that it wont go up or that no one knows yet.

Personally, I'm still going to buy my SP at SFGAm, my home park, so I can get a season parking pass for there. I would save more using it than if I would go to another SF park and have to pay for parking every trip to GAm.
Just my $0.02 ....

the season passes for parking is included for all the parks except SFKK which charges 3 dollars to park because its own by the exposition center.
No Cedar Point, the SF parking passes are park specific. For example an SFA parking pass will NOT work @ SFWoA (btw: SFWoA doesnt even OFFER a parking pass). If someone has used an SF pass at an alternate park and it worked, it was an anomaly and not the norm.

If you would rather take a trip on spring break to buy a pass for 50.00 at another park then buy a packaged pass at SFGAM for 60.00, then why do you care if the price went up in the first place. Go buy your pass at another park.
No matter where you buy it it will be about the same price as SFGAm, because then you have to spend gas money, and food, and hotel..so put it all together you will be spending way more if you buy it at another park.
First off... "U" isn't a word, it's a letter.
Second, if prices go up, it'll probably be a buck or two, just like it has always has been since the beginning of time.
