Anyone know anything about SimTheme Park?

I've had RCT for a while, and I love the game. Does anyone know if it's worthwhile getting SimPark? I've heard some good things about it, is there any differences between the two games? Thanks

Exactly, instead of taking oh about 5-15 minutes making a coaster it is oh half hour to hour. And there is.. ah forget it just don't get it.

Whose Line is it Anyway?

I heard is similar to RCT in certain aspects but it blows. Way too kiddy.

To call this game crap...is just wrong.....there is plenty of things in it that RCT doesn't. For every ride in SimThemePark depending on the park there is a great theme....and each ride is pretty cool too....great thrill rides that RCT does not have.....The only thing RCT does better is it's coaster building system which is a little more difficult....but overall SimThemePark is a great game.

I've played both and the idea of coasters without supports turned me off to SimTP. It's a little too alternative for me. The themes are great, but it depends on what you want, I guess. I want the closest thing to building a true replica of a coaster, that is in RCT. Theme Park did not excite me in the least. Especially when over Christmas break, I spent 8-10 hours overnight building my first coasters on RCT...I do have the virus...RCTism. I need a support group, now.

I like RCT better... I can't explain why. Just the smoothness of the game. Nothing is hard to understand. It took me a minute to figure out stuff on TP. I could build a coaster right off the bat with RCT. Anyone can learn it quickly. Chris Sawyer did a tremendous job, and I congraduate his and his teams efforts on the task of creating this perfect game that has me hooked. I have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) because of it now! I can't sleep without playing it! :)

SimThemePark/Coaster STINKS!!!

it's just a little kiddy game with horrible graphics and building coasters is a pain, these were the first Sim games that i didn't like

Don't waste your money on sim theme park.It's just not worth it.Just stick to RCT.

Im sorry but i was so excited to play that game and when i bought it...It sits on the shelf never being played while RCT never seems to bore me. Not what i expected and from what i hear neither is sim coaster.

the only thing good about it is you can ride your coasters and it has some cool graphics

other then that it sucks for building stuff
