Anyone ever gone to Knott's Halloween Haunt?

I am wondering if anyone has ever gone to Knott's Halloween Haunt and if so, how was it? I have heard that it's really freaky and monsters(employees) come out and grab you every 5 seconds just about. How are the mazes? And do they do anything special to the rides like turn off the lights for it? I am going this year with my g/f with her mom and we have never gone before so we just want to know what to expect. Is there a lot of fog there?

Yea I've been there. It's okay, but it tends to get really crowded because it's extremely popular. And the thing is that you can't go on the weekdays to escape the crowds because it is only offered on weekends in October. Supreme Scream had a 1 hour 45 minute wait that night I went. That tells you how crowded it was. Plus, there were lines for the mazes. But the monsters were definitely doing their job VERY WELL. I still enjoyed the experience. The mazes were also very scary and cool. But it's best just knowing Halloween Haunt (Knott's Scary Farm) was the first Halloween theme park event in the world.

I've been there. they have fog and the mazes are good, but it gets so crowded that the lines for the rides are about 3 each
