I have blacked out on Hulk in the loop after the cobra roll also. Besides that, it really does not happen to me. I did feel out of it after riding Alpengeist 3 times in under half an hour. Any coaster that does that to me is a great ride!
I had a grey out on Goliath's helix before.
I felt weird after going on Alpenguist twice in a row. And once on Boomerang @ Knott's.
When I was riding Millennium Force over and over during Millennium Mania, after a few times I experienced a partial black-out going around the first overbanked turn.

On Invertigo at PGA, I blacked out. Many Vekoma's are a bumpy and unenjoyable experiance and through the loop, my vision got fuzzy and I blacked out.

My brother says he temporary lost his sight on Blue Streak at CP, but then again, he gets dizzy driving down the street.:)

SFGAm: SCREAM. THRILL. REPEAT. Two New Coasters in 2001!
I have been a little dizzy, but I am assuming this is because I sometimes ride one ride after another (especially with no wait time in between). Usually the 1-2 hr wait inbetween rides usually minimizes this for most people who don't go during off-peak times during the season.
off topic but.. wait i think this is related.
I blacked out when i was so drunk
I passed out one time when I was an Altar boy. Fell forwards and smacked my head on the Altar. Ouch!
Oops. Not what you were refering too, huh?

I greyed out once, on Steel Phantom, in 1992. Rode it about 8 times that day, but only greyed out once. My friend almost lost consciousness, though!

I used to have a visual blur before going backwards on a Schwartzkopf shuttle loop, but I think it had something to do with my contacts floating or something, even though nothing's really supposed to make them move around in there(?) that ride was the only thing that did anything "to them", because I rode Viper last week, I felt air, no visual blur like I used to get. Nothing has made me feel like blacking out, I've never even gotten sick, yet. People experience this on X-Flight? What about Stealth?
Do you guys drink things other than colas? If you drink nothing but soda, maybe you need to drink some waters, too.
I have had tunnel vision during the first two flips on Anaconda @ PKD.
Craig the Coaster Freak - never happened to me either. Maybe we just have the kind of makeup that has a higher tolerance? I never get the slightest bit nauseous on coasters either, you?
Incidentally, p_c_r has a good point -- what you drink may have an effect. If you have problems with vision/blacking out on coasters, you might want to cut down on the sodas and/or alcohol. Water is the way to go!

I rode Hulk 6 times during my visit to IOA, and had a near black-out each time in the loop after the cobra roll. After 2 rides I was getting a nasty headache, but the ride was so damn fun that I had to keep coming back for more. I've never had anything approaching a black-out on any other ride.
Not sure...
I don't rember parts of my 3rd (and last) ride on Steel Phantom.

"Resistance is futile... you will be assimilated." The BORG's (and Six Flags') motto.
Well this isnt blacking out ON the ride but in 7th grade we always have the tradition of riding the Blue Streak first at cedar point and the que line was full that day and we were about to go up to the steps to where you make your selection as to which part of the train you wish to ride and i was reading something and everytime I blinked it kept getting darker/blacker and then I fainted and next thing I know is I"m in one of those litle medical vans. It got a good laugh out of my friends though...fainting in line for the Blue Streak...come on
I agree CrystaKat some people get sick while in a car, plane, or roller coaster. Our inner ears are strong! The only time I felt nauseous was after riding the Timbers 25+ times. I felt beter in about an hour though. I feel those strong g's, but nope, nothing.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
im glad to know that im not the only person that has blacked out. at SFGAm Shockwave between the 2nd and 3rd loops really have some intense g's and i always loose my sight for a second
Im with ya thrillride, im glad im not the only one. Also on that same ride on face/off, the restraint wasnt down all the way and I literally slid out of the seat. Luckily the seat belt and the leg divider was there (unfortuneately the kid sitting right in front of me was freaked out)
