Anyone else notice CP's website?

Did anyone notice that there was a new OnPoint blog entry late afternoon yesterday but later it was removed?
It was about the revamped website (which is also back to the old design) and how there are better videos and more pictures up as well as a description of the food choices at the park.

Just curious because it struck me as being odd it was updated then later removed.

Maybe they found a problem with the design.
Big improvement would be to replace their crappy park map with one that is a little more readable.

Apparently the new site was producing a lot of error messages and broken links, so they've rolled back to the old one. I'm sure the blog post will come back when they get the new site online.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I noticed that too last night but it's back up now.

Anyone notice they added Skyhawk to the skyline at the top? Wonder if it will be animated.
^ It will start swinging May 6th.
Haha, I've said it before I'll say it once more. That banner is one of the coolest I've ever seen.

OK...I checked out the new site...I like it. It's pretty good, and yes, Dan, the banner is pretty darn cool.

My only gripe....I watched the POV of Mean Streak and it appears to be from the year it was built...it even looked better without the trims from what I remember....wish those days could come back.

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
The design is pretty good, though the menus don't work in Firefox. Grrr.

I don't seem to have a problem in Firefox. The menus do seem to work great, and the movies work even better. The videos load and play SO much better now.

I still keep looking for Turkey Legs to be added to CP's menu. I still choose Geauga Lake now over CP just for the Turkey Legs ;) How can a park that has the perfect atmosphere for Turkey Legs not have them? I figured this year they would so up at old Smokey's or somewhere in the back of the park since Geauga Lake has them now and they are always selling out of them.

You can get turkey legs at Gristmill Refreshments, near the exit of Snake River Falls.

Ahh if this is true I will sleep much better! Much obliged! Did they add them when they changed the menu around back there? I thought they just added some Mexican food?

They're not always there, but when they have the big grills set up (which is most of the time from June-August) they have em, and they are good.
Did anyone notice that the "new" site does not work unless you have Flash Macromedia play installed?

Panman, the "old" site wouldnt have either, since the main banner was a Flash animation.

Like fathorse mentioned, they're not there every day. They may not always be readily available, but turkey legs have been around the Point for years. They use to sell them at the Old-Fashioned Chicken BBQ before Millennium Force was built.
