Anyone else have yet to ride a coaster in 2004?

So I decided to skip getting a season pass to SFStL this year (though I'll go later in the fall - can't break a 33 year record) and my first coaster trip isn't for 2 more weeks. 10 months since my last ride. I may have to turn in my emmgee certification.

What's the longest you have gone between rides?

I went eleven months once. From June '03 to May '04, when I rode 17 new coasters(a trip to SFGAdv and CP). And then in July I went to OC, Maryland and rode two more. So I've gone a month without riding or seeing a coaster, and I'm starting to feel the effects(like looking over a building and expecting to see TTD, seeing a tall building in Albany that looks like TTD and trying to find something similar to Millie further back, everytime I lay down I feel like I'm going to do a loop like on S:UF, when I sit in my computer chair I try to remember Raptor, I could go on forever!).

I never go more than two months, and now that I live in Southern California, I don't plan on going more than a few weeks. :)

How could you handle 10+ months is beside me!

The first 15 or so years of my life.

Well, I started riding very young, so I have Andy beat, but the longest stretch since I started has to be from July of 1999 (SFGAm) until August of 2001 (SFA). Then it was from August of 2001 till June of 2002 (PKD). Since then, it has only been a few months, or the off season. I did Hurricane in Oct. of 2002, PCar in May of 2003, Kennywood in Oct. of 2003, PCar in May of 2004, and I just got back from PKI and SFKK. Never will I let it go that long again, so I have the 10 month thing topped!
I'm at CP & GL's opening and closing days every year, and I always hit PKI for the opening weekend since it opens before CP &GL...then I'm at a park every weekend!! The longest I go is the 5 or 6 months during which no parks around here are open...
But this summer I had wisdom teeth out and couldn't ride for 2 weeks, it was horrible....
Would you believe from the Spring of 1986 until the Fall of 2002! Scarey, huh?

And these days, I thought I was going to go crazy during my October to April/May coasterless life this past year. This year I'm going to Vegas in December though to ensure at least a few rides during the winter months.

As you can tell, once I started back up in 2002, I have not stopped (well, except in the winter -- darn Chicago weather). *** Edited 8/6/2004 9:23:45 PM UTC by ltlbat***

I was out of action from august '96 until december 1998. I went back to the Philippines and checked out their only bonafide theme park (Enchanted Kingdom) and rode the Space Shuttle, a boomerang. Before the Space Shuttle, I've only ridden 7 coasters, mostly from SFGadv. Ive gone on to 21 parks and 84 coasters ever since (7 parks, 27 new coasters and counting this year alone). I am going to SFMM next saturday and based on the comments I've read here I am dreading it already. I just wanna get on goliath, riddler's revenge, x, colossus and scream. I could care less about the rest. Is their customer service worse than SFA?
